Effective evaluation and assessment of students’ performance is a key component of University education. The office of Controller of Examinations is running an efficient and reliable examination system for the students of the University, its affiliated Colleges as well as external candidates. We aim to provide the best possible services to the students without compromising the standard and sanctity of examinations. The fact that almost 150,000 students appear every year in various examinations is a reflection of the efficiency and transparency of the examination system of Sargodha University. The office has launched an online admission system for the students of affiliated colleges and external candidates. Our next goal is complete automation of the system to further expedite the tasks of timely conduct of exams and declaration of result besides ensuring the accuracy and secrecy of data.


Through four portals, the office facilitates students digitally and resolves the issues related to the issuance and verification of degree, provision of roll number slips, generation of online challan and submission of online applications for admissions.



The office performs various functions with the assistance of its team members working under different branches.

Dr. Muhammad Bashir

Controller of Examinations

Dr. Muhammad Bashir has been serving as Controller of Examinations, Sargodha University, since 8th February 2018. Previously, he served in various positions which include Research Officer, Assistant Professor, Head of Education Department, Director Academics, Director QEC, University of Sargodha (2005-2008), Controller of Examinations, University of Sargodha (2008-2010), Chairman, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sargodha (2010-2013), Director QEC (2015-2018). His area of learning is curriculum development, educational assessment, planning and management. He aims to revamp the examination system of the University using modern technological tools and professional skills to make it more efficient and transparent.
