Functions of HR Branch

  1. Performing recruitment functions such as advertisements of various teaching / 
    non-teaching positions, scrutiny of applications, conduct of screening Test, etc.
  2. To conduct the meetings of Selection Boards.
  3. To conduct the meetings of Selection Committee for Appointments (BS-01 to BS-16)
  4. Recruitment of Part Time/Visiting Faculty
  5. Maintenance of PERs of Non-Teaching Officials (BS-05 to BS-16)
  6. Constitution of committees
  7. Correspondence with Chancellor/Governor of the Punjab and Higher Education Department, Govt. of the Punjab regarding recruitment cases
  8. Submission of Reports regarding petitions/representations filed before the Chancellor/Governor and 
    Hon’ble Courts related to appointment matters
