Overview

An exciting initiative by the University of Sargodha, aimed at advancing our educational and socio-economic objectives, Human Resource Development Center (HRDC) was established in July, 2024 under the directions of the Honoreble Governor/Chancellor, University of Sargodha. HRDC has been established to enhance not only our educational infrastructure but foster skill development in the region.
HRDC is envisioned as a pivotal facility for advancing human resource management, professional training, and development programs. Its creation addresses the growing demand for skilled professionals and aims to provide comprehensive training tailored to both local and regional needs. We anticipate that HRDC will play a significant role in the socio-economic development of Punjab by cultivating a skilled workforce prepared for the challenges of the modern job market.

Amjad Hussain Janjua

Director

Mr. Amjad Hussain Janjua assumed the charge as first Director of Human Resource Development Center on August 08, 2025. He is an experienced Academic Administrator, Management Trainer, and Educator with 19+ years in the Higher Education Sector. He holds an MBA degree from GCU Lahore, an MPhil in Management Sciences, and Master’s degrees in English Linguistics & Literature from NUML Islamabad. In addition, he pursued further studies in Business Administration at the University of Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. He has served in senior administrative roles at University of Sargodha, including Deputy Registrar, Additional Registrar, and Additional Controller of Examinations, while also teaching Management, HRM, TQM, and Business Communication. Having contributed to numerous HEC-sponsored training programs as both participant and trainer, he is committed to advancing Professional Development through Capacity Building and strengthening the role of HRDC in achieving Institutional Excellence.
