All employees of the University of Sargodha deserve respect, and their collective efforts, honesty and dedication are essential for the institution’s progress and the country’s development, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Tasawar Hayat (H.I., S.I., T.I.) said during an interactive session with employees in grades 1 to 4.
Emphasising the dignity of labour, he said every employee had an important role in the university’s functioning and urged them to discharge their duties with commitment, discipline and punctuality. He said the university is a shared responsibility and its progress depended on teamwork and a strong sense of ownership among its employees.
The vice chancellor said the welfare of employees remained a priority and assured them that their concerns would be considered in accordance with university rules and regulations. He stressed that matters relating to service benefits, promotions and other facilities would be dealt with on merit and through established procedures.
He encouraged employees to approach their responsibilities with a positive attitude, recognising that honest work at every level contributed to the institution’s overall performance.
The interactive session concluded with a question-and-answer segment in which the vice chancellor responded to employees’ queries and reiterated the importance of mutual respect, transparency and collective responsibility in building a progressive university. Heads of administrative offices also attended the meeting.
