UoS IT students showcase innovative tech solutions at projects exhibition

Students of the Department of Information Technology at the University of Sargodha presented innovative projects in Artificial Intelligence, cyber security, Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile applications during the Final Year Projects Exhibition 2026 held at the university’s multi-Purpose Hall.

The exhibition featured a range of technology-based solutions aimed at addressing real-world challenges and highlighted the department’s focus on practical and industry-oriented learning.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas along with Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Sarwar Awan visited the exhibition and appreciated the students’ innovative work. He also praised faculty members for their guidance and commitment to academic excellence.

The event was organized under the supervision of Incharge Department of IT Dr Khalid Mahmood Aamir and Dean of the Faculty of Computing and ITProf Dr Muhammad Ilyas.

Speaking on the occasion, they commended the students’ technical skills and creativity and encouraged them to continue pursuing research and innovation in emerging technologies.

Faculty members and industry representatives attended the exhibition and reviewed the projects displayed by graduating students.

The exhibition concluded with calls for strengthening research-based learning and enhancing students’ exposure to practical technological applications.
