UoS Collaborates with Novocare International Hospital for Student Training and Employee Healthcare

University of Sargodha (UoS) has entered into a partnership with Novocare International Hospital & Research Centre (NIH&RC) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support academic growth, hands-on medical training to students, and improved access to healthcare for university employees.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Raza Bilal, Director of the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at UoS, and Mr. Muhammad Tahir Abbasi, Manager HR and Administration at NIH&RC, during a ceremony attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas and senior officials from both institutions.
Under the MoU, both institutions will collaborate in the areas of clinical internships, hands-on medical training, joint research activities, and healthcare support for university staff at subsidized rates. The collaboration will allow business administration, medical and allied health science students to gain real-world exposure in a professional hospital environment, enriching their academic learning with practical insight.
During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas highlighted that this MoU reflects university's commitment to providing students with practical exposure, enhancing their employability, and strengthening academia-industry collaboration
Mr. Muhammad Tahir Abbasi stated that we are pleased to partner with UoS in supporting medical education and extending quality healthcare services. Together, we aim to contribute to professional development and community well-being.
