Students from the Institute of Art & Design (IAD), University of Sargodha (UoS), secured eight prominent positions at the 6th International Student Convention held in Islamabad, marking a significant achievement for the institution on an international platform.
The students demonstrated outstanding creativity and professional excellence across multiple categories, reflecting the quality of education and mentorship provided at the institute.
In the Fine Arts category, Ms. Mahnoor Zia Lodhi clinched second position in painting, while Ms. Rida Imran secured third position in sketching. Ms. Shmaim Fatima was awarded second position in calligraphy.
In the Photography category, Mr. Hussain and Ms. Aneeqa achieved first and second positions respectively in the architecture segment. In the human category, Mr. Ammar secured first position, followed by Mr. Zaid in second place. Mr. Ahmad was awarded second position in the “Chaos & Calm” category.
Vice Chancellor UoS, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas in his message, congratulated the winning students, their mentors, and the Institute of Art & Design for their outstanding performance.
“Such accomplishments reaffirm the university’s commitment to promoting art, culture and creative excellence among its students, while strengthening its reputation at national and international forums,” he said.
