The Institute of Art & Design, University of Sargodha, organized an exhibition to commemorate the Republic Day of Turkiye as part of the university’s week-long activities celebrating Pak-Turkish friendship and cultural ties.
The exhibition showcased a variety of artworks produced by students of Fine Arts and Textile Design, highlighting themes of Pak-Turkish friendship, shared heritage, unity, and modern collaboration.
Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan inaugurated the exhibition and appreciated the Institute of Art & Design for promoting creative education that connects students with global perspectives and values. He stated that cultural and artistic exchange plays a vital role in strengthening international relations and fostering mutual understanding among nations.
Maryam Saif, Director IAD, stated that the purpose of such exhibitions is to inspire students to engage with diverse cultures, showcase their creative potential, and promote the spirit of cross-border friendship through art and design.
The event was attended by Director Implementation Engr. Dr. Hafiz Ghulam Murtza Qamar, Director Students Affairs Dr Mahmood-ul-Hassan, Manager Alumni Office Nasir Haroon, In-charge Incubation Center Salman Paracha, faculty members, and students who appreciated the creativity and thoughtful themes reflected in the displayed works.
