University of Sargodha Hosts Alumni Lecture on Islamic Values in Leadership

The University of Sargodha held a session under its Alumni Guest Lecture Series, titled “Impact of Islamic Values on Leadership and Governance.”
The session was jointly organized by the Alumni Office and the Department of Islamic Studies. It brought together a distinguished panel of alumni and academic professionals who shared their insights on how Islamic principles can foster ethical leadership and promote good governance in contemporary society.
The event was attended by Dr. Shah Abdul Raouf Deputy Director at the Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority Lahore, Dr. Shahid ur Rehman Deputy Director at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Islamabad, Mr. Tassawar Alam Squadron Leader (R), Dr. Hafiz Ramzan Associate Professor at Ambala College Sargodha, Dr. Farhat Naseem Alvi Chairperson department of Islamic studies, Nasir Haroon Manager Alumni Office, faculty members and students.
Dr. Hafiz Ramzan highlighted that Quranic teachings provide a framework for responsible governance and ethical decision-making.
Dr. Shahid Rehman stressed to follow Seerat Nabi to be an effective and inspiring leader.
Dr. Shah Abdul Rauf emphasized that Islamic values teach us to uphold justice, honesty, and equality in all aspects of life.
Dr. Khalid Mahmood Arif stated that leaders who embody Islamic principles inspire trust and confidence in their communities.
Mr. Tassawar Alam said that Islamic leadership is about serving humanity with integrity and compassion.
Dr. Farhat Naseem Alvi expressed gratitude to the guest speakers for sharing their valuable insights and said that this type of session connects alumni to present students to shape future leaders and foster a sense of community and shared purpose.
Nasir Haroon presented commemorative shield to Dr. Farhat Alvi, while certificates of participation were presented to the alumni guest speakers.
