University of Sargodha hosted an Alumni Get-Together

The Department of Botany and Alumni Office University of Sargodha hosted an Alumni Get-Together to strengthen the network and uphold the legacy of excellence in education and community building.
The event was graced by Pro Vice-Chancellor UoS, Prof. Dr. Mian Ghulam Yasin, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Amir Ali, Director ORIC, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Raza Bilal, Chairman of the Department of Botany, Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal, alumni, and a large number of students attend this event.
Prof. Dr. Mian Ghulam Yasin highlighted the university's role in enhancing the quality of education and the culture of discipline and ensuring employee satisfaction. He emphasized that these elements are vital for maintaining the institution's reputation and delivering excellence in higher education. He also appreciated the role of the Alumni Association in bridging the gap between former and current students.
Prof. Dr. Amir Ali stated that Alumni are the backbone of any academic institution, and the University of Sargodha has always prioritized fostering a strong connection between research and community development. This collaboration ensures that our academic and professional endeavors contribute meaningfully to society, he concluded.
Prof. Dr. Ahmad Raza Bilal said that the role of alumni in the growth of an institution cannot be overstated. They not only uphold its reputation but also inspire current students to aim for excellence.
