Sargodha: December 10, 2023- US Consul General from Lahore Consulate Kristin K. Hawkins paid a special visit to the Lincoln Corner at the University of Sargodha on Sunday.

Her itinerary commenced with a productive meeting with the Pro Vice Chancellor Prof .Dr. Mian Gulham Yasin. Following this, she met with Lincoln Corner's staff where she had a detailed discussion with Friends of Corner including their introduction, their roles and responsibilities as a volunteer, their future goals and career choices.

During this visit, Kristin enthusiastically briefed students about her previous tenure in Pakistan back in 2015 to 2017 when she worked on different exchange programs. She also discussed different US scholarships like Fulbright and shared how students can get benefits through this opportunity.

In the spirit of showcasing Sargodha's essence, students highlighted the city's notable achievements and strengths. Students also presented remarkable 3D printed oranges, which garnered her genuine admiration and appreciation. 

The interaction was remarkably fruitful, engaging in a robust discussion that included students's aspirations and the possibilities for future collaboration.

The session ended with the thanks note by focal person Prof .Dr. Ijaz Asghar who also requested them to expand the facilities like GRE preparation and testing centers for the students of Sargodha.
