UOS Hosts CEO Forum and Product Exhibition to Foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Malik Firoz Khan Noon Business School organized the Second Annual CEO Forum and Product Exhibition at University of Sargodha.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas inaugurated the event. Other distinguished attendees included Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan, Director Noon Business School Prof. Dr. Irfan Shehzad, along with 18 leading CEOs from around the country.
The event featured a panel discussion on “Future Graduate Skills for Job Market” bringing together industry leaders and academic professionals to discuss evolving workplace demands and a vibrant product exhibition where students showcased their 32 innovative business ideas and entrepreneurial projects. The exhibition included a diverse range of prototypes and startup concepts, reflecting students' creativity, business acumen, and practical application of classroom knowledge.
In his address, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts between academia and industry. He said Industry and academia work hand in hand across the world, but in our country a gap still exists. We are determined to close this gap. He further explained that Universities are centers of innovation, and industry has the power to transform those innovations into tangible products. Together, we can commercialize ideas and create impact.
Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas also launched Business Case Study Journal along with Prof Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan and Prof Dr. Irfan Shahzad. The Vice Chancellor highlighted that Noon Business School is the third in Pakistan to start this initiative, we have already published five local business case studies and aim to publish ten more this year, he concluded.
Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan stated that this forum is an excellent platform to align academic efforts with industry expectations. 
Prof. Dr. Irfan Shehzad in his welcome address, emphasized the purpose and future plans of the CEO Forum. He said this forum is designed to serve as a bridge between academia and industry, bringing our students and entrepreneurs face to face with professionals who are shaping the market.
Dr. Irfan Shehzad also moderated the panel discussion. The panel discussion provided students with valuable insights into real-world business scenarios and the skills needed to navigate the evolving job market.
