Sargodha, July 26, 2024, A three day faculty training workshop titled "Teaching Re-defined: Professional Growth "organized by Human Resource Development Center University of Sargodha concludes on Friday.
The workshop focused on enhancing the professional development of teachers by focusing on their capacity building, decision-making skills, stress management, and learning of modern educational techniques. More than 100 faculty members from various departments participated in the workshop.
While addressing the concluding ceremony as a chief guest, Professor Dr. Mian Ghulam Yaseen, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Sargodha emphasized the importance of such workshops in the field of education, highlighting that they are essential for teachers to enhance their skills and play a pivotal role in the education and training of students.
He further elaborated that these workshops offer teachers the chance to not only increase their knowledge but also to view their teaching methods from new perspectives. He also encouraged teachers to see knowledge as a continuous process and to keep augmenting their understanding constantly.
Educationist, Dr. Khurram Ilahi stressed on the importance of continuous learning for teachers, suggesting that they should not only enhance their professional skills but also familiarize themselves with new teaching techniques and methods. He highlighted the responsibility of preparing students for success not just in academic fields but also in practical life. 
In his concluding remarks, Director of the Human Resource Development Center Khurshid Yousaf stated that University of Sargodha aims to align teachers with the demands of modern education and equip them with skills that will enable them to succeed in a changing educational environment.
