Symposium

The Department of Physics at the University of Sargodha organized a one-day symposium titled "Emerging Trends in Physics and Materials Science.The event brought together prominent researchers, faculty members, and students.

Distinguished speakers included Dr. Wajahat M. Qazi from COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, and Dr. Muhammad Naveed from the Beijing Institute of Technology, China, Prof. Dr. Amir Ali, Dean Faculty of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Anwar ul-Haq, Chairperson Department of Physics, other faculty members and a large number of students were present there.

Dr. Wajahat M. Qazi, emphasized the importance of fostering research culture among the youth, urging them to channel their skills toward scientific advancements. He further stressed the need for comprehensive policymaking and actionable steps to promote scientific research in Pakistan. 

Dr. Muhammad Naveed stressed that groundbreaking innovations in this field could provide solutions to global challenges. He encouraged students to connect with international research platforms and focus on contemporary advancements in the field. 

Prof. Dr. Amir Ali reaffirmed the University of Sargodha's commitment to promoting scientific inquiry and innovation. He remarked that such symposiums play a crucial role in inspiring young researchers to pursue world-class research and broaden their intellectual horizons. 

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Anwar ul-Haq highlighted the department's commitment to acquaint students with modern scientific developments.
