The Department of Communication and Media Studies, University of Sargodha, hosted an inspiring Media Extravaganza aimed at fostering entrepreneurial culture among students. The event underscored the University’s commitment to nurturing innovative ideas and transforming students into job creators rather than job seekers.

The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas, Vice Chancellor of the University of Sargodha, who emphasized the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in shaping the future. A large number of students, faculty members, staff, and business professionals attended the exhibition, where they explored and admired student-led projects.

The students presented innovative business ideas spanning various sectors, including emerging technologies, e-commerce, aviation, food, cosmetics, and diverse product lines. A key feature of the exhibition was the integration of digital media marketing and advanced technologies to promote these business concepts effectively.

Highlighting the University’s proactive approach to entrepreneurship, Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas shared that the University has established a Venture Fund worth 200 million PKR to support viable student-generated business ideas. This initiative reflects the University’s dedication to empowering students with resources to turn their ideas into successful ventures.
