The Career Development Center (CDC), University of Sargodha, in collaboration with the Zakat Foundation of America, Pakistan, organized an awareness session titled “Transitioning from Student Life to Professional Career” at the Malik Feroz Khan Noon Business School Auditorium.

The session aimed to help students effectively prepare for professional life after graduation, focusing on career planning, skills enhancement, and personal development.

Dr. Mohsin Zahid, HEC-certified master trainer, consultant, entrepreneur, and founder of Neuron Solutions and CareerGuidance.pk, served as the resource person. Drawing on his extensive experience, he shared practical insights on communication skills, professional ethics, adaptability, and personal branding. He emphasized that continuous learning, practical exposure, and confidence are essential for success in today’s competitive job market.

Dr. Zahid encouraged students to identify their strengths, pursue relevant skill development programs, and make informed career choices aligned with their interests and academic background. His interactive style kept students engaged throughout the session.

In his concluding remarks, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Raza Bilal, Director ORIC, appreciated Dr. Zahid for his motivational and insightful talk and thanked the Zakat Foundation of America, Pakistan, for their collaboration. He noted that the Career Development Center is dedicated to providing students with practical learning opportunities that enhance employability and leadership skills.

A large number of students from various departments attended the session with great enthusiasm. At the end, e-certificates were distributed among participants for their active involvement.

Career Development Officer Masooma Zahra stated that the CDC will continue organizing such initiatives to bridge the gap between academia and industry and prepare students to meet future professional challenges.
