The Career Development Center (CDC) at the University of Sargodha, in collaboration with the Department of Agronomy, organized a recruitment drive for UNICOL Limited – Sugar Division, Sargodha, to provide career opportunities to graduating students in the fields of agriculture and management sciences.
Held under the CDC’s ongoing commitment to career facilitation and industry linkage, the recruitment drive offered positions for Management Trainee and Cane Development Officer, aiming to support fresh graduates in launching their professional careers. The selection process included a written test and panel interviews conducted by Bilal Alam (Manager HR, UNICOL Limited), Raja Asif Nawaz (Director Cane & Admin), and Prof. Dr. Kamran, Agronomy Department, who also conducted interviews during the process.
The event commenced recently at the CDC, where over 100 students from relevant disciplines participated in the recruitment process. Students had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and potential for industry roles. The interactive sessions also enabled participants to gain a clearer understanding of employer expectations and industry dynamics.
Participants expressed appreciation for the opportunity to engage directly with a leading industry player on campus. The event concluded with highly positive feedback from both company representatives and students, reaffirming the value of university-industry engagement in fostering meaningful employment opportunities.
