Blood Donation Camp Organized at the University of Sargodha

The University of Sargodha organized a special blood donation camp to ensure the provision of blood for Thalassemia patients.
The camp was arranged in collaboration with Noon Business School, Give Life Foundation, and Sundas Foundation which was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, who was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Irfan Shehzad, Director, Noon Business School, Dr. Rehana Ilyas,Controller of Examinations, Dr. Mehmood-ul-Hassan, Director, Student Affairs, Usman Haseeb, Founder of Give Life Foundation and Mukhtar Ahmed Mirza, businessman and social activist, along with faculty members of various academic departments.
Addressing the participants, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas highlighted the importance of blood donation as a humanitarian duty. He emphasized that saving one life is equivalent to saving all of humanity and encouraged students, faculty, and staff members to actively contribute to this noble cause.
Prof. Dr. Irfan Shehzad stated that blood donation is a significant humanitarian service that can help save Thalassemia patients’ lives. Dr. Rehana Ilyas and Dr. Mehmood-ul-Hassan appreciated the efforts of Noon Business School, Give Life Foundation, and Sundas Foundation in organizing this welfare initiative.
Usman Haseeb, Founder, stressed the collective responsibility of ensuring a steady blood supply for Thalassemia patients, emphasizing the need to support those suffering from this condition.
The blood donation camp witnessed overwhelming participation from students, who actively donated blood to support this life-saving initiative.
