The Career Development Center, in collaboration with the DPIR Intellectual Forum, organized an awareness session titled โ€œFostering Anti-Begging Awareness and Measures.โ€
The initiative highlighted the social, legal, and community-driven strategies necessary to address the issue of begging and to promote sustainable, long-term solutions.
The session offered students a platform to deepen their understanding of the socio-economic challenges associated with begging, strengthen their sense of civic responsibility, and engage in constructive dialogue on practical measures to curb the problem.
Keynote speakers included Ms. Saima Kausar from the Department of Politics and International Relations, and Ms. Maryum Saif, Director Institute of Art and Design. Both urged the participants to take an active role in fostering social change through awareness and community action.
The program also featured an inspiring poetry recitation by Mr. Abdullah Ali Hashmi and an art display curated by Ms. Maryum Saif, visually encapsulating the theme of the event.
E-certificates were awarded to participants in recognition of their active engagement and commitment to the cause.
