Abu Bakar Muhammad Raza did his Ph.D. in Entomology from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (Pakistan) in 2008. He also completed post-doctoral research training in Entomology from Imperial College London (UK) in March, 2013. He has more than 22 years of teaching and research experience in his field. At present, He is serving as Associate Professor in Entomology at University of Sargodha, Pakistan. He also served as Principal College of Agriculture, University of Sargodha and Chairman Department of Entomology. He has been nominated as Approved Ph.D. supervisor for entomological sciences by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan and supervising many Ph.D. and M.Sc.(Hons.)/M.Phil scholars in Entomology. He has many research publications of national and international reputes in his credit. His specialty is in systematics and biodiversity of insects/mites. Since university works on three dimensional patterns of coordinating teaching, research and extension, Dr. Raza possesses good experience of all three. His flair and adeptness for computer, escalates his skill as a modern agriculture scientist.
