Department of Arabic Language and Literature is offering Programs; BS in Arabic, BS in Arabic (5th Semester Intake),M Phil and PhD(Arabic).The BS Program in Arabic Language and Literature offers a quality Arabic Program that appeals to a range of student interests and offers a wide range of career opportunities after graduation. The program will attract graduate students with a strong liberal as well as religious background who hope to enhance their role as future educators, scholar’s experts in Arabic. The Department has grown significantly year after year. It is considered now to be the biggest department in the faculty. Today, this department plays a leading role in providing different institutions with professional, skillful graduates. The department of Arabic language and Literature is working ambitiously since 2008 when it started its journey under Umbrella of the University of Sargodha.
The Department has been improved in response to the new vision, new innovation and modernization achieving the highest academic quality in the field of Arabic Language & Literature, boosting the department’s relations with interdisciplinary studies.
Arabic is a divine language that is also national language of twenty five Arabic countries and has been declared official language of many international organizations including UNO. It is essential part of religious life and furthermore learning of Arabic language leads to an excellent career as multidimensional relations of Arab world with Pakistan.
