MOU with Sitara Peroxide to Develop Strong Relations with Industry

University of Sargodha and Sitara Peroxide Limited Faisalabad signed a Memorandum of Understanding on March 31, 2018 for collaboration in mutually agreed areas of cooperation between the two organizations.
The MOU was signed by Dr Ishtiaq Ahmad, Vice Chancellor UOS and Irshad Ali Sindhu, Head of HRM Department, Sitara Peroxide Industries Limited Faisalabad. The agreement will help developing a strong relationship with the industry for strengthening the University-Industry linkages and to provide a platform to students for technical learning and research opportunities.
The pact will also assist the university in making visits for industrial study tours to explore current scenario of the and to share knowledge and expertise for development of cost-effective methods for industrial waste treatment.
Under the agreement, both stakeholders would be responsible for:
Developing and strengthening University-Industry interaction.
Providing technical guidance and sharing knowledge about process innovations.
Providing and sharing knowledge for analytical and industrial cost-effective methodological developments.
Imparting training on advanced analytical equipment available at Sitara Peroxide Limited, Faisalabad.
Providing internships for the maximum duration of six weeks and imparting training as per industry policies.
Supporting the faculty and research students to build their management skills.
It may be added here that Sitara Peroxide Limited is a leading chemical company in Pakistan, and pioneer in High-tech to produce Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in the country.
