Coordinator Lincoln Corner participates in national workshop at US Embassy

Coordinator Lincoln Corner Sargodha (LCS), Ms. Maryam Gul participated in national workshop of Lincoln corner coordinators arranged by Information Resource Center at the US Embassy in Islamabad on 2-5 May 2017.

Theme of the workshop was ‘To Take Lincoln Corner Management and Outreach to the Next Level’. Focus of the training was on strategic planning and promoting use of technology and innovation in corner programming. SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely) work plan and importance of goal setting in programming was also discussed in the training.

Lincoln Corner Sargodha is one of the most active, enlightening and engaging corners in Pakistan. It was presented as the success story because of its active, innovative, engaging and learning oriented programs. During the training, Ms Gul led a session on ‘interactive and engaging programs’. She will replicate the training modules with the Friends of LCS at the University.

LCS plans to hold a summer school for the local community, children of the faculty members of UOS and SOS Children’s Village Sargodha and students of the university as a follow up activity.
