UOS students outshine in National Literary Festival

Students from University of Sargodha won various positions in All Pakistan Literary Festival held at University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, on May 11, bringing home the accolades for their exceptional achievements.

The students represented UOS in different categories and dominated the festival with their brilliant performances.

Abdullah Naeem and Taqdees Lodhi (Team) won first position in Bait Bazi, Zainab got first position in English poem, while Talat Husain won first position in creative writing.

Shnawer Khan stood third in the category of Ashra Urdu poetry (Ashra Urdu poetry is a sub-genre of Urdu poetry which contains ten verses). Inamullah Salemi and Usman won third positions in Urdu Ghazal and Punjabi Ghazal, respectively.

All Pakistan Literary Festival is a national event with 12 categories of co-curricular activities. University students from all across Pakistan participate and compete in different contests in this event. This year, UOS students participated in 10 categories and won distinguishing positions in 6 categories.
